Step by step
01 Capture
Record the walk-round in Note Metric on your iPhone, type your notes, or both, and add up to 20 photos. Your originals are kept exactly as you added them.
02 Draft
One request to the AI model per report. The draft comes back in your report type, wording and scale: snagging items by location, or condition items by element. Every item cites the note line or photo it came from.
03 Check
The software checks every quote against the note it names and flags any it can't find. It checks any count in the summary against the report, and in a condition report it flags any sum of money, because costs are yours to enter.
04 Review
Go through each item against its source, edit what needs changing, enter the costs, and tick it reviewed. Every change is recorded: the draft (which model, when), each edit with the old and new wording, each review.
05 Sign off and export
Once every item is ticked, sign off with your name, role and date. The report locks, and exports to Word or PDF in your branding. Unsigned copies say DRAFT on every page.

No. A report is only final when a person ticks every item and signs it off with their name, role and date.
